Have a question about something you read on Greenlighthoops? Want to point out an error, suggest a topic, or share feedback on one of our guides? You can reach our editorial team directly by email at [email protected]. We read every message that lands in our inbox.
What to Send Us
Greenlighthoops covers personal finance, credit cards, loans, credit scores, budgeting, and debt management. Your message is most useful to us when it fits one of these areas. Here are the kinds of notes we welcome:
- Topic suggestions. Tell us what you wish we covered. If you searched for an answer and could not find a clear one, that gap helps us plan future articles.
- Corrections. Spotted an outdated figure, a broken link, or a fact that no longer holds? Point us to the article and the specific line, and we will review it.
- Feedback. Let us know which explanations clicked and which ones left you confused. Reader input shapes how we write.
- Press and partnership questions. If you represent a publication or organization, send the details and we will route your note to the right person.
Response Time
We aim to reply within two to three business days. Messages that arrive over a weekend or holiday may take a little longer. If your question is detailed, give us enough context up front, including links and screenshots where they help, so we can answer in one reply instead of several.
What We Cannot Help With
This is the part to read closely. Greenlighthoops is an independent education site. We are not customer service for any bank, lender, card issuer, or credit bureau, and we have no access to your accounts.
If you need to dispute a charge, check a balance, reset a password, or ask about a specific application, contact your financial institution directly using the number on the back of your card or the secure message center inside your account. We cannot view, change, or escalate anything tied to your personal accounts.
We also do not give personalized financial advice. Our articles explain how credit, loans, and budgeting work in general terms. For guidance tailored to your situation, consider speaking with a licensed financial advisor or a nonprofit credit counselor.
Before You Write
A quick search of our site may answer your question faster than an email can. Many common topics, from reading a credit report to comparing loan terms, already have a dedicated guide. If you still need us after that, the inbox is open and we look forward to hearing from you.
